Sex in a Relationship

Q:

Long term relationships...who would agree with me?

Anybody that has been in a marriage or long term relationship (like over 5 years) might feel this way...would you agree?

After having sex with the same person for multiple years, multiple times a week... the reality is that the BEST and most THOUGHTLESS sex is going to be with the same person.

This being,
Even one night stands have a little spark.
Best usually comes when somebody doesn't have to ask what you want...they just give it a full go..

What do you think?

hmmm. Me thinks you are looking for approval to cheat. You're not going to get it from me. I LOVE my Dude, and no one else even remotely comes close to distracting me. I am a firm believer that your attitude is your decision. If you're bored, then this is your choice. If you want to cheat or have meaningless one-nighters, you can live with it, then do it. Am I to judge? No. Would I do something like this? Um, that would be a definite NO. Maybe you just aren't the type cut out for long-term relationships, and this is something only you can decide. But, before you go and cheat on someone that holds you deeply in his heart; think about who you're hurting along the way...and be prepared to pay the consequences.

Ummm... what am I agreeing to?

That long term relationships can have great sex because of how well you know each other, and that you have relaxed and don't worry about things...

or that one night stands and new relationships are exciting explorations of someone new (perhaps because you don't have the burdens of daily life or who you really are to mix in)?

or that the two should co-exist?

I find many people are happy with their their partners, for however many years. It seems to be a relative minority that find sex with the same partner becomes an onerous burden. Happily, my wife and I are having some of the best, most adventurous sex of our lives, and we've been together for 11 years last August!
