Hey Lizzie...it's so hard to say what his overall intentions are without actually seeing him interact. I have always been a flirty type of guy and have been called out about it before. I do know that when I am actually interested in a girl and not just being my flirty self, I make more physical contact with her. I touch the small of her back, her hands, and give her my full attention. If you notice these things, I think it is only fair for you to assume he is interested. I would just go for it and if you get denied or turned down, don't feel bad or rejected because it's not your fault, it's his for leading you on. It is even fair for you to call him out if he ends up turning you down because he clearly was leading you on and he should know that what he's doing is completely wrong. Butttttt I think you should be fine. Chances are if he is showing you the type of attention I mentioned above, you are going be good to go. :)
