Male and Female Body

Q:

Penis Size

I just found this poll online and it made me think a bit about expectations.

What is your take on the results and what's your own personal opinion?

Penis Size

I would like to add a few things about Penis Size. My current boyfriend is 7.2 inches long and 2.7 inches wide. I like to call his dick "just the right side" My boyfriend always makes reference to the story of Goldilocks...he is weird.

The guy I was seeig before my current boyfriend was small. He was less than 6 inches and not very thick. I had problems achieving orgasms with him and as sad as it is for him I had to fake it more than a few times. With my current boyfriend, the sex life was phenomenal. I have never achieved orgasms this quickly. I have definitely experienced some new heights of sex with my boyfriend and even though I have a lot of feelings for him, his ability to sexually satisfy has been making me coming back to him over and over, on subconscious level of course.

I agre that width does matter more. I orgasm faster and have the most pleasurable sex when my partner "fills me up" with his dick. My most sensitive organs are located very close to the entrance to my pussy however I do like when my partners are long enough that it feels like they are hitting the bottom of my stomach every time they thrust in.

I however disagree that size doesn't matter. I understand that there are ways to enjoy yourself wth whatever guy with whatever penis size out there but you know what? if you are a woman like the poster I'm responding too then all power to ya! I guess I'm just a rare breed of women who actually care about personal sexual satisfaction. You my friend sound like you have some self esteem issues. This is not about being shallow more about knowing what you like. You don't have to adjust to anyone if they can't fullfill one of the simpliest of our biological needs. So with that being said, I would never be with guy who has a penis smaller than my current boyfriend's. However I would also prefer to never be intimate with a guy who has a penis larger than my current boyfriend's.

I slept with two African-American guys who had dicks of porn-stars. One guy was actually a little smaller than the other. The first guy I had sex with I remember I gasped when I saw his dick soft. Even soft that "thing" was aready 8 inches long and 2 inches wide. I remember I was really drunk and I asked him to measure his dick out for me. He of course let me do it and after I was done he suggested to put it in my mouth. So this is one thing I will agree on the poster about "size doesn't matter". If a penis does not fit in my mouth it will not fit in my pussy. This guy could barely fit his 10 inch cock inside of me at first. We had to use SO much lube just to get him half way in. It was a mess. I just let him do me at the end and tried to enjoy the moment as much as possible which I never achieved. He got very aggresive towards the end and ended up hurting me. I never saw him again.

The second guy had a 10.5 inch penis but it wasnt as wide. However the experience was not the best one. I was really drunk again and it was not enjoyable.

size

my boyfriend has a large penis, (at least it's large compared to what I've been with)., but I didn't go out looking for someone big, we just met and fell in love.

Who cares about the poll...care about what feels good to you

For guys...don't even read into this stuff. You have what you have and the only thing you should worry about is learning how to use it best :) Why worry about things you can't change (and to me having plastic surgery or taking a shady pill is not an option for change).

Girls...stop worrying about the size. Try to learn what feels good for you. Sure the media says all these things about penis size and hollywood makes a small penis into laughing joke but in reality...if you're a small, petite girl, a small penis might feel better than you jamming something huge inside you.

It's about how things feel...not how they look.

OH DEAR LORD!

Yeah, I would seriously question the validity of that survey. The answers just don't make sense to me. Btw, men with abnormally large penises (I would say over 9 inches) are exceedingly rare. The further your penis size deviates from the population mean (about 6 inches), the more rare it is for a guy to have this size. How did all these women find men with 11 inch penises? Did they confuse cm with inches?

so having a girth of 3-4 inches? As Coltor pointed out, that's a soda can. Most women are not looking for a soda can.

Here's the thing about women's vaginas, yes they can stretch, it's their job. But the vagina is actually only about 6 inches long. When people start saying that they want a 9 inch penis, what exactly are you doing with the extra 3 inches that aren't rammed up against your cervix?

I don't know about these women, but my gspot, along with 90% of my nerve endings are in the first two inches of my vag. Do these women have gspots in their uterus? What's up!?

Do you want to know what size penis the MAJORITY of women want? Go into a sex toy shop, and take a look at the strap ons and vibrators and dildos. See anything interesting?

OMG! They're the same size as 90% of the penises out there! That's right, most 5-7 inches is actually the most comfortable size for the majority of women. There is a reason why you don't see many 10 inch long dildos with a 4 inch girth, that's because the majority of women prefer the normal size of a penis, which is about 6". Wanna know what women want? Now, there are exceptions to the rule, and I love you exceptions to the rule, do your thing, but let's be realistic about the average.

I have a rule about girth: if your dick can't fit in my mouth, then it can't fit in my vagina. That's some serious wisdom right there, write that down.

And really, if you have a partner that has an abnormally large or small penis, there are ways to work with it. Grinding works best with a partner with a smaller penis, (assuming the partner is female) since it helps to stimulate the gspot. If a man has an abnormally large penis, then I find having sex while spooning works. It helps to keep the pressure on the gspot, and makes sure that the dick isn't being crammed up against the cervix, which can be incredibly painful for some women.

Besides, although penetration can be pleasurable, most women still find it difficult to cum from penetration alone. What a guy does with his hands and tongue can make more of a difference towards a girl's satisfaction (sorry for the heterosexism, but the article is based solely on heterosexual women), than what he does with his penis.

And seriously, can we stop putting so much pressure on guys to have their penis be a certain size or shape? there is this unhealthy societal pressure on guys to say they have a monster dick. No one seems to be satisfied until a guy has a dick that is big enough to kill you.

As a woman, I will never insult a partner's penis size. I think it's off limits. I know that penis size is somehow related to masculinity, and so I never even tease, because so many people are sensitive to even the smallest seeds of doubt. That being said, I would much rather reframe masculinity to not be attached to penis size, or whether you can hang a towel off of your hard on or not. I would prefer men feel their masculinity and self worth reinforced when they are able to be good lovers. Good lovers are attentive, giving, communicative, accepting, give unconditional positive regard, are appreciative, and try to ensure that their partner is happy and satisfied (which may or may not include an orgasm).

If people cared more about how men treated their partners, and cared more about ensuring their partners were emotionally and physically pleased after sexual encounters, I think the world would be a better place. You can't change your penis size (and surgeries for it suck, please don't try it), but you can learn how to be loving, attentive, and a good lover. Let's focus on that.

I guarantee you that a huge penis size does not make you a good lover, it just makes for a huge penis.

*takes a deep breath* And I'm spent.

heh heh

I really can't believe those survey results. I mean, there has got to be some bot out there just filling in riddiculous answers (or /b/ got a hold of the link or something). I mean, do you really think 28% of women really want a dick as big around as a soda can inside them? I honestly don't see it.

Personal opinion...hm. I'm going to say that size matters up to a point and that that point is determined by each individual person. I mean, some people are size queens and they just have to have that monster cock. Other people can get off almost exclusively from oral/manual sex, so penis size really isn't that big of a deal. On top of that, some people are with their partners for the emotional attachment and the fact that a penis is there at all doesn't even matter. Really, I believe it to be a case-by-case basis.

Personally, I like something closer to 6...

Personally, I like something closer to 6 than 7, but around in that range. I know some women don't really "like" how penises look, but I do and the larger ones tend to be uglier. I like smoother, evenly shaped penises with prominent heads and even coloring. Anything over 7 tends to get a little ugly and misshapen. Looks are way more important to me than size. (Although I totally stopped seeing a guy because he was well under 5 inches.)
I'm a small girl and way above average penises just hurt. They're ugly and unsatisfying to me. Besides, width is way more important that length as far as pleasure goes.
Also: I think most people are really unsure about how to mentally measure something. I've met some size queens who really need to pick up a ruler and realize how big 8 inches is! That's monstrous! Very, very, very few men actually have penises that big.
